Shaping your Restaurant for Tomorrow's Environment

Good - The Opposite of Great!

The reality of Restaurant Management is that only a very small percentage of today’s managers have a proven and practical education in the hospitality industry with little or no resources for continuing education.

These individuals are then asked to operate an establishment in an ever-changing industry with high employee turnover, escalating costs and very critical and well-versed guests.

Most of the time these managers have been in the business for a number of years, obtaining the basic skills, contacts, patience and respect required to get through a good shift.  When you combine these industry skills with the right person, you may get a very good manager. A good manager will "sit on the bus, go for a ride" and get through a good shift.

A Great manager is one who "drives the bus" and ensures a Great shift.  He also works on growing the business with exceptional service, building the right team for the long run, increasing the bottom line and understanding the business of the business. A Great manager runs the business like they own it.

The question is... do you want to be Good or Great!

Commit To Being Great !!!!
